Global Lean Consultant

As part of the AVK Group in Denmark, Wouter Witzel is looking for a Global Lean Consultant!

Do you possess a well-equipped Lean toolbox and the capability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications in both production and administrative domains?

As part of the AVK Business Office at AVK Holding A/S, you become an integral part of the Lean transformation, the AVK way. In collaboration with proficient colleagues based in Denmark, Poland, and China, you will contribute to shaping a performance culture centred on processes and people. As our Global Lean Consultant you will report to the Group Lean Manager, and you will spend time improving business processes in close collaboration with +100 General Managers and their management teams, employees, and local Lean Coordinators/ Managers. This role offers the right candidate a chance to apply his/her skills in a thriving family-owned company, creating a meaningful impact.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Take part in delivering and continuously enhance our 15 days Advanced Lean Training provided to the AVK Group, while creating new training programmes to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Coordinate Strategy Deployment workshops in collaboration with local management teams and ensuring a systematic and disciplined follow-up process tailored to each +100 companies.
  • Utilise Value Stream Mapping to analyse and identify gaps between current and future situations, plan efforts to achieve the envisioned potential.
  • Develop and implement structured problemsolving methods and promote desired behaviour within the +100 companies. • Facilitate and lead various improvement workshops with the aim of cultivating a Lean culture, the AVK way.
  • Conducting Train the Trainer sessions.

You should possess the following qualifications:

  • A demonstrated track record of achieving substantial and enduring enhancements in business performance over a span of 3-5 years. Preferable from an international company.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
  • A passion for training, teaching, and coaching others in Lean thinking.
  • The ability to excel in facilitating and fostering ownership, empowering colleagues to independently drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • The capacity to work autonomously with a structured and persistent approach, consistently delivering high quality results.
  • Proficiency in effortless communication in English, both verbally and in writing; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
