In the 1960s the brothers Wouter and Johan Witzel laid the foundation for what is today Wouter Witzel Eurovalve, a proud member of the AVK Group. What started as a family-driven ambition has grown into an internationally respected specialist in the design and manufacturing of high-quality butterfly valves.
For six decades, our valves have found their way into municipal, shipbuilding and industrial applications all over the world. With nearly 200 dedicated employees, an annual turnover exceeding €50 million and a strong, healthy order book, Wouter Witzel Eurovalve is firmly positioned for the future, ready for the next 60 years and beyond.
To mark this milestone, we dedicate the entire year 2026 to our 60th anniversary. Each month, we will highlight a different aspect of our company: from our people and products to our history, innovation and partnerships. Along the way, we’ll be launching fun, spontaneous actions and surprises.
Follow us on social media and stay tuned, you won’t want to miss what’s coming next.
As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, we continue our monthly actions with a new challenge – this time for your ears. For our March edition, we invite you to GUESS THE SOUND.
We will share an audio fragment, for example, the sound of a Wouter Witzel product in action. Your task? Listen carefully and tell us what you think it is. Do you recognize the sound of quality and craftsmanship?
At the end of the month, the winner will be announced.
The lucky winner will receive a Marshall portable speaker: small in size, powerful in sound. Perfect for enjoying your favorite music wherever you go. Put your listening skills to the test and celebrate 60 years of Wouter Witzel with us.
To mark this milestone, we created this calendar especially for you. Each month features a unique QR code that unlocks a special action, offer, or surprise, our way of saying thank you for being part of our journey.
Here’s to the past we’re proud of, the present we share, and the future we continue to build together.
