Hoa Lien WTP is an important project in Central Vietnam region. This is the 1st stage of the project and features the construction of a spillway on
the Cu De River to source water with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water, a water pumping station with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water
and DN1400 raw water pipelines with a daily capacity of between 120,000m3 and 240,000m3 of water.
This stage of the project will also include the building of a 13,606m2 reinforced concrete spillway on the Cu De River and a 727m2 raw water pumping
station with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water. Also, 1.4m- diameter and 10.616km-long raw water pipelines will be placed underground running
from the pumping station in Hoa Bac Commune’s Nam My Village to the water treatment plant in Hoa Lien Commune’s Quan Nam 1 Village.
This is the biggest and most important water treatment plant in Da Nang city. When completed, the project will help ensure water supply for residents
in the districts of Lien Chieu, Thanh Khe, Hai Chau, Son Tra, and Hoa Vang.”
